Cooking Demo at the Sustainable Living Festival 2009

By Sinta
January 20th, 2008

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since we last wrote. We hope you all had a great break over Christmas and New Years. It’s back to business now and to kick off the year we have been generously offered the opportunity to present a cooking demonstration at the 2009 Sustainable Living Festival at Federation Square in Melbourne.

The presentation will consist of an introduction to the origins and traditional uses of tempeh, as well as how our product follows the true method of tempeh production. We will also be preparing various dishes to demonstrate how tempeh can agree with everyone’s tastes, and of course, how it can be enjoyed as part of a sustainable diet and lifestyle.

‘Cooking with Tempeh’

Location: Federation Square
Time: 1-1.50pm
Date: Saturday 21st February

We need as much support as possible so please come along and say hi!

Searching for Distributors…

By Sugeng
September 27th, 2006

After a very successful (though busy) two weeks, we are now back on our feet. Thankyou to everyone who came to Festival Indonesia and braved the big crowds to line up at our stall! We had a great time and met lots of great people. We will definitely be back next year.

As demand for our tempeh increases, we are now planning for expansion out of Melbourne and into other states. We are seeking food distributors in NSW and QLD. If anyone is interested or knows somebody who may be interested, please let us know…your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

We are constantly looking out for new recipes to try out with tempeh (as if we don’t have enough already!). If you have a creative/innovative/just-plain-tasty tempeh recipe that you wouldn’t mind sharing with everyone, please write to us and we may try it out and publish it in our website (with your name, of course).

Meanwhile, check out our current recipes under our ‘Ideas and Recipes’ section. We will be updating this as often as possible, so keep checking back for new ways to eat your soy beans.
